As Developer Scientific Geophysical Software (d/f/m) you will development of algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling and their integration into software for reservoir navigation and 3D mapping.

Work Experience

As a Developer Scientific Geophysical Software , you will be responsible for:

• Developing of algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling
• Implementing of algorithms in production software using object-oriented programming languages
• Testing algorithms using benchmarks and field data
• Collaborating with the software users for collection of feedback and improvement of the software
• Participating in paper and article preparation for the major professional societies’ events (SPE, SPWLA, EAGE).
• Driving technical communication with customers and research institutes

### Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have successfully completed your studies in in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Have experience in development of software using object oriented programming languages (C++, C#, or similar programming environments)
• Have experience in development of computational algorithms using C++, Fortran, Python, C# or similar programming environments
• Have experience in the Oil and Gas industry and software development experience
• Have basic knowledge of electromagnetic measurement principles
• Have technical writing and presentation skills and deep affinity for technical problem solving
