# Junior Development Engineer (d/f/m)

The Flight Test Ground Station (FTGS) is the center for all telemetry and IT services in the field of flight testing. Here, all data collected during a test operation are recorded, stored and prepared for further processing. Data sources are the instrumentations and data taps of the test vehicles (FTI).

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Agile software development and maintenance of the new analysis and monitoring tool suite
• Development of interfaces to existing applications, APIs and user interfaces
• Implementation of functional requirements for the overall system in compliance with security and confidentiality requirements
• Development of models, solution patterns, solutions
• Align architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long-term strategic planning for the organization's information systems

## Desired skills and qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or computer science
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital technologies
• Good knowledge of network and cloud technologies
• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Rust, Python, Typescript
• Knowledge of human-machine interface design is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of machine-learning frameworks is an advantage
• Fluency in English and German is an advantage
